How we do the things we do. It begins with you having an idea. Whether you are building a new home or renovating an existing space, you’ve decided to work with a professional design team. We want to help you understand our way of doing things, our process.

ESTABLISHING A VISION

Preliminary Consultation

Our first meeting is to get to know you and your design project. During this visit, we will be able to get a better understanding of the scope of work and your ideal timeline. We will need your help by providing us with some of your inspiration images, your wish list and an initial budget. These three elements will guide us to create your space for life. We understand budget is a big word, however this information will guide us in shaping your vision. We will be able to prepare a design proposal tailored to meet your specific needs.

Site Study

Once you’ve approved our design proposal, the fun part begins. If it is a renovation, we will visit you to measure and study your space. For new construction, we will gather your plans and prepare them for our conceptual phase. We will study the site and orientation of your home to optimize.

DEVELOPING AN IDEA

Concept Phase

With your inspiration images, wish list and budget, we are ready to interpret your vision. Once we have our research down, we start the layout and planning of your space. We prepare conceptual drawings as well as an initial materials palette.

Design Presentation

The vision for your great new space starts to become a reality in this step as we unveil our concept presentation to you. We will work together to make any necessary adjustments and changes to reflect your vision.

SHAPING THE VISION

Design Development

We create a complete design concept tailored to your needs and a master plan for you, with a combination of inspiration photos, colors, materials and finishes.

With the scope of work determined and the design development clarified, we produce detailed drawings of the spaces including all the cabinetry such as the kitchen, bathrooms and other living areas. All the big decisions are being finalized here.

Cost Analysis

In this phase, we will work on pricing cabinetry, countertops and hardware for the project. For renovations we can also assist you with obtaining prices from contractors.

EXECUTING THE CONCEPT

Contract Documents & Approval

At this stage, we will present you the final contract documents for the cabinetry component including the quote, the drawings and the specifications. We will get your final go-ahead in order to take the vision we’ve put down on paper and make it a reality.

Ordering & Coordination

We’ve received your approval of the cabinetry contract and begin working on ordering the products for you through our suppliers. In most cases, the time after ordering provides a period of quiet excitement. On the back end, our team is busy tracking orders, receiving and categorizing items and planning for the final installation. We’re also coordinating with your contractor and suppliers to ensure your home comes together smoothly and seamlessly.

Delivery & Installation

The final and most exciting step is the installation. It’s time for you to sit back and watch us make it happen. Your space for life is finally taking shape.

After Sales

We believe in offering the absolute best service. That is why we offer a complimentary home visit one year after your project is completed. We will re-visit your home and perform any adjustment and touch-ups needed to ensure you are entirely satisfied with our product and service.
